FAQ’s ABOUT YOUR TRANSACTIONS

How are my transaction files handled?

You will continue to use SkySlope to manage your transactions.  You will be receiving a new “welcome” email from SkySlope in the coming days.  Use this new login for all transactions opened on or after _____________.

Each file is assigned a “File Reviewer”.  It is her responsibility to review the file as documents are uploaded ensuring compliance with DRE and Company requirements.   The Reviewer will match your documents to the Company checklist and report what is completed and what is still needed. Ultimately, your file is approved and your commission check is released to you by your Office Manager/Broker.

What about my active listings?

This is a great time to reach out to sellers to tell them the exciting news!  We will be providing you with an addendum to the listing agreement that describes the new partnership.  All other terms of the RLA will remain the same.

What about my escrows?

All of your existing escrows will close out under your current system.  Any escrow opened on or after __________, will be stored and managed in the new SkySlope platform for RE/MAX Gold.

How do I get my commission checks?  How often will I get paid?

All commission checks are processed through the RE/MAX Gold Accounting Department in Fair Oaks and delivered directly to your office.  Any check received in Fair Oaks by 11 am is processed that same day and delivered to your office via courier, the following business day.  Once the commission check arrives at the Accounting Department, you will receive a “Congratulations!” email notifying you, your office Administrator and your Manager that your commission check has arrived and is being processed.  Once you receive your “Congratulations!” email and you would like to pick up your commission check that same day, ask your Administrator to submit an “early check release”, and your check is available for you to pick up in Fair Oaks between 3 pm and 5 pm.

Who do I go to if I need some advice on a transaction?

You may continue to use the same process you have always used.  But with the new partnership, your Managers have new resources for getting questions answered including a “Compliance Advisor”, a “Risk Manager” and an attorney.
